This prestigious event, hosted by the Union County Foundation, is not just an awards ceremony, it’s a gala of gratitude, a festivity or recognition, and a night that promises an unforgettable experience

 AWARDS GIVEN TO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

  • Organizing Committee of the Year: Awarded to the organizers of an annual event, one-off project or campaign which has been particularly successful in engaging with the local community and whose participants have demonstrated great teamwork.
  • Small Business Social Responsibility Award: This award recognizes and celebrates outstanding involvement of a for small business and its team directly in charitable, voluntary or community projects.
  • Business Social Responsibility Award: This award recognizes and celebrates outstanding involvement of a for profit company and its team directly in charitable, voluntary or community projects.
  • Innovation Award: The innovation award acknowledges novel work or services benefiting the community, encompassing impactful partnerships, projects, approaches, and inventive solutions, eligible for individuals or teams.
  • The Biggest Heart Volunteer Award: The recipient of the Biggest Heart award demonstrates unwavering kindness, compassion, and availability, consistently going above and beyond to serve others.
  • The Biggest Heart Organization Award: Similarly to an individual with a great heart, there are groups/organizations that are willing to show up and step up – time and time again. They truly make our community “go around”.
  • Board Member of the Year: This dedicated volunteer, currently serving on a board, exceeds typical board member duties through extensive, often unrecorded, yet acknowledged contributions, showcasing leadership, service, and significant organizational impact.
  • Angel Award (Posthumously): This belated award honors a community member who has passed away in the last 3 years and has demonstrated exemplary volunteerism, lifelong dedication, and substantial contributions to the community, with presentation to a family member in their memory.
  • Public Elected Official of the Year: The recipient of this award, excels in their role while actively enhancing the community through actions such as volunteering, fundraising, and embodying ethical leadership, consistently striving to improve residents’ lives.
  • Youth Volunteer Award: This exemplary youth, aged 18 or younger, prioritizes giving back to their community through volunteer work and various forms of service, demonstrating a strong commitment to making a positive impact.
